SACHSENBACK 2005turned out tobeanimportant trade fair for exhibitors and visitors from the bakery trade inthe east and was regarded asabearer ofhope for the future. There were also indications that the around 260exhibitors would enjoy good business after the event.

Well over 50per cent ofthe competent trade visitors are involved ininvestment decisions intheir companies. They came with firmpurchase intentions tothe exhibitors’ stands where they obtained in-depth information ontechnical innovations and were able togain animpression offuture trends. Alarge number oftrade visitors come back time and again toSACHSENBACK, thus confi rming the attractiveness ofthe programme and diversity ofthe trade fair. SACHSENBACK — regional and national

Over 13,000trade visitors had excellent contact and discussion opportunities with the 260exhibitors from 12countries. The majority ofvisitors travelled adistance ofupto300 kilometres from the main catchment area. Inaddition tovisitors from Saxony, Saxony- Anhalt, Thuringia, Brandenburg and other German federal states, SACHSENBACK welcomed guests from Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia and the Netherlands.
