CIL International exhibition is a part of Manufacturing Indonesia, the largest series of manufacturing exhibitions in South East Asia. In 2008 it attracted about 1400 exhibitors from 34 countries and more than 27000 visitors. 12 countries had individual pavilions in 2007. Among them were Germany, UK, Korea, Thailand, India and others. The Indonesian government is commited to developing the chemical processing industry and the manufacturing sector is investing heavily in R&D, improving productivity and quality controls.
